We had a nice huge lunch, family style, before heading over to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower for a tea tasting. We stocked up! After freshening up back at the hotel, dad and I made our way to the bar for a quick drink before dinner at the hotel before our optional Legend of Kung Fu experience. I anticipate a very good sleep tonight.

Day 2-Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City
We awoke after a less than restful sleep at around 2am China time. After being up a couple hours, we may have rested another hour or so before we finally arose around 5 to begin our day. Breakfast was said the be between 6:00-8:30, but turned out they didn’t open until 6:30. They had quite a spread, including sushi rolls and bread pudding! We had a nice breakfast before meeting up with the tour group at 8. We boarded the charter bus and headed straight for Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It was warm, but low humidity, so in the shade, it was pleasant. In the sun, it was HOT.
